Babini kuki sweater

[8/7/2006] This comes from a kit I got from Babini kuki/Aristo Fashion in Bulgaria -- they sell kits including the yarn and pattern, or they will hand-knit any sweater they offer especially for you, to your own measurements. I really loved this design, so I decided to buy the kit. I did alter it in two small ways: first, the original pattern was a turtleneck and I'm not that fond of them, so I made the neckline shorter; and second, I did set-in sleeves instead of drop since I like my sweaters more fitted. I love the result and almost wish it were winter so I could wear it! Pattern source: Babini kuki/Aristo - designer is Galina Dacheva. They do not have online ordering, nor can they take credit cards; I had to send them the money for this kit via Western Union. Well worth it, though; I love the sweater and will probably end up buying more kits from them at some point.
