Christmas tree with crochet decorations

In 1999 we got a Christmas tree for the first time since my husband and I have been together. Since we weren't sure whether the cats would destroy it, we decided to decorate it almost entirely with handmade ornaments. Most of them were crocheted by me (who else?), and my husband made a few from plastic canvas. Here is our tree; after this picture are a few close-ups of some of the ornaments.
